Our group offerings

Living cafe
Through exchange and mutual support parents and youngsters with impairment develop self-determined, individual and alternative living opportunities. New forms of living have to match the demands and needs of the young people. The group assembles regularly in common recreational activities and topical discussions. At present the topic of ’sexuality and impairment’ is issued in separate events for parents and  youngsters with learning disabilities.

The intention is to create precise living opportunities in the shape of a flat-share or a housing project, where people with and without impairment can live together. The group is open to all those interested.

Integrative toddler’s crawl
Cooperating with Nachbarschaftsheim Schöneberg  EbE offers mothers and fathers and their babies a chance to encounter other families. Both families with children with and without impairment / diagnosis are invited and welcome to join our group. In common exchange and with coffee and tea it is a good opportunity for families to find access to people in similar situations, to become acquainted and to share joyful moments.

Given the fact that many a time parents of impaired babies and toddlers feel left alone, we hereby emphasize our inclusive strategy.
